“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.”
– Gilda Radner
Good morning friends! I am indulging in a large cup of coffee because I just came in from a very rainy 8 mile run where my legs felt as if they each weighed a million pounds. The pounding rain seemed to mimic my desire to run this morning, but I figured I would regret not running more than I would regret running, so I laced up.
Yesterday was one for the books. Getting into the Palace Theatre was so exciting and seeing the set for the first time was pretty overwhelming. It is going to be a truly beautiful show.
But because it is tech, I didn’t touch the stage yesterday. While they were working on lighting the first few minutes of the show, I made a dent in my understudy work in my dressing room. I did get fitted for my many wigs for the show and I got to see some of my costumes in their entirety for the first time. It is nice to be in the space and it feels really good to walk out of the stage door of a Broadway show.
So with that being said, I am off to tackle a little more of the day. Meaux man is getting his hair done down the street and I have to pack my bag and snacks for the day.
Enjoy your Tuesday friends!
