I think it is finally starting to sink in that I am leaving NYC for a little while again. Although I have posted it in my “News” section, I haven’t really said anything here on the Blog. I will be heading out at the beginning of October to Texas for a quick family visit, but then will be off to Myrtle Beach for rehearsals for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. This will be my 5th year with the company and it will be my second time to spend the contract in Nashville, Tennessee. We will be at the Grand Ole Opry and will run from November 18th thru Christmas Eve. I am very excited to be a part of the show again, but I may be in denial that I will be away from the city til the middle of January. Good thing my suitcase is always close by.
But I have so many exciting things in NYC in the meantime. With visits from out of town friends (yes, I am talking about you Dana and Lori) and a ton of get togethers before heading out, my last 3 weeks in NYC should be wonderful. Also, if you are in the Houston area, you should check out my sister’s latest project, Guys and Dolls, opening September 27th at Theatre Under The Stars.

We got rid of our cable about 6 months ago and now watch everything via Netflix or Hulu streamed through our PS3. We do have a digital converter box, but the reception is poor so we only get one channel-CBS, which in Houston is channel 11. So my new morning ritual is to watch Great Day Houston and The Price is Right while I’m getting ready for the day. I am totally turning into an old lady!
Ummm…I am a total old lady. I fix coffee and watch the Today Show as I get ready. If that’s wrong I don’t want to be right
Hello there, I am getting sooo excited!!! I cannot wait to see you and the big Apple! I will have my running shoes in my carry-on so soon as I get off the plane I will be ready!! I know that i will definitely need them with everything we will have to do!!!
