Amanda has been recently cast as murderous vixen, Roxie Hart, in Northern Stage’s production of Chicago. The show begins previews on April 11th with an April 13th opening and runs through May 6th. Tickets can be purchased here.
In roaring twenties Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband Amos to take the rap…until he finds out he’s been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess” Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the “American Dream”: fame, fortune and acquittal.

Good morning! My young daughter (I assure you, well prepared) came to the show last night…we sat front/second row stage left… Anyhow, I wanted to pass along our congratulations and praise for your outstanding proformance! My daughter has been a fan of the music from Chicago for the past year. Watching her watch it all all come to life and the look of sheer amazement was l that I could have hoped for as her father. Please extend our delight and praise to the rest of the cast and crew! BRAVO!

I saw you tonight at northern stage and I just wanted to say you were amazing! When the entire cast was onstage, my dad and I found that you always drew us in. You have a wonderful stage presence and an even more beautiful voice. Keep it up!
